Mandaue Chamber signs MOU with Russian business group to enhance economic collab

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has partnered with the Alliance of Business Structures and B2BASEAN to boost economic ties between Mandaue City and Russia. The memorandum of understanding was signed on May 26, 2025, at Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City.

MCCI President Mark Anthony Ynoc and B2BASEAN President Lubarto Sartoyo led the signing, witnessed by key officials from both organizations. The partnership aims to explore opportunities in sectors such as furniture exports, renewable energy, logistics, AI-driven automation, education, and advanced medical technologies.

B2BASEAN is currently conducting a multi-sector business mission in the Philippines from May 21 to June 8, with activities in Manila, Mandaue, and Cebu. This initiative is in collaboration with the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Philippines and local business chambers.

This agreement builds upon MCCI’s previous trade missions to Russia, including collaborations with the Moscow and St. Petersburg Chambers of Commerce. It signifies a commitment to fostering international relations and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses in Mandaue and Cebu Province.
